I’ve been taking pictures for about 30 plus years. I’ve been told that “I have the eye” – the photographic eye, that is. Looking at something, framing it in my mind and taking a photo of it seems to come natural to me. I enjoy photographing everything from landscapes, animals, people, and right down to the pollen sacks on a bee. The last 8 years have been the best of times. That’s when I bought my first digital camera. I was in heaven and so long to the days when I would drop off a role of film and walk around the store for an hour waiting to see just what I captured. Now I can take 3 or 4 hundred pictures and not bat an eye. I’ve been entering the Clackamas County Fair and the Oregon State Fair for the last few years and it is a joy to see my work on the wall with my fellow photographers.
