GENERAL INFORMATION Located in the heart of Portland’s Grand Avenue Historic District, the Architectural Heritage Center is owned and operated by the Bosco-Milligan Foundation. Opened in February of 2005, the AHC is housed in the recently renovated West’s Block Building (1883), the oldest surviving commercial building in the district. The three-story facility features two exhibit galleries, two large classrooms, and a small conference room. The combination of vintage character and modern amenities, including climate control, adjustable lighting, and elevator, make it a unique and convenient site to host a meeting or special event. Access to both exhibition galleries is included in all facility rentals. Guided tours of the building, speakers, and education programs are available. Please contact us for more information. Everyone is welcome at the AHC. Please note that the museum environment may be difficult for children under 12. We hope you will think of the AHC when planning your next event! |
